The Story
During our own world cruise, we visited some of the Top 50 Bars in the World along the way - the inspiration for our SEVEN SEAS Dry Gin. We are happy to present you some of our signature drinks.
A SIP of the Ocean
22:00 in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, 1,200 nautical miles west of Southampton. Steering towards New York at 5.9 knots. Clear moonlight on calm seas.
A SIP of the Ocean. The perfect after-dinner martini.
Ingredients:
- 40 ml SEVEN SEAS gin
- 20 ml vermouth
- 1 squeeze fresh lemon
- Ice cube
Preparation:
Place ice cubes in a mixing glass. Add SEVEN SEAS Dry Gin and vermouth. Then stir well with a bar spoon. Pour into a chilled glass and spritz with a lemon.
THE BOW Signature Drink
A tangy drink for warm and late summer evenings - with light spiciness, the spirit of the high seas and a pinch of enthusiasm.
Ingredients:
- 40 ml SEVEN SEAS Dry Gin
- 10 ml Monin ginger syrup
- 10 ml Manuka honey syrup
- Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic Water
- Fresh sage
- Ice cube
Preparation:
Add the SEVEN SEAS gin, syrup, sage and ice to a shaker and shake vigorously. Pour in a double strainer into a highball glass filled with fresh ice. Top with the Elderflower Tonic and garnish with candied ginger.
PEACH Breeze
Enjoying the spillway at the bow, heading through tropical straits and feel the warm sea air of Southeast Asia. Opening your eyes and enjoying this moment at home with a glass of our SEVEN SEAS Dry Gin.
Ingredients:
- 40 ml SEVEN SEAS Dry Gin
- 20 ml de Kuyper Peachtree peach liqueur
- 20 ml Le Monin liquid brown cane sugar syrup
- Fresh mint
- Ice cube
Preparation:
Add the SEVEN SEAS Dry Gin, peach liqueur, cane sugar syrup, fresh mint and ice to a shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into a glass with ice cubes in a double strainer. Garnish with mint.
GIN BASIL SMASH
Sailaway from Hamburg, the "Home of the Gin Basil Smash" at Le Lion. The harbour to starboard, Blankenese port side. With the Elbphilharmonie in the back towards the adventure.
Ingredients:
- Fresh basil
- 80 ml SEVEN SEAS gin
- 20 ml cane sugar syrup
- 30 cl freshly squeezed lemon
- Ice cube
Preparation:
Place a handful of fresh basil in a shaker. Add SEVEN SEAS Dry Gin, the freshly squeezed lemon juice, cane sugar syrup and ice cubes and shake. Pour into a chilled glass with ice and garnish with a basil leaf.
Botanicals
Our SEVEN SEAS Dry Gin: Intense peach, kumquat and vanilla from native, sustainable cultivation transport you to distant lands - sweet honey gives our gin a soft note. Which botanicals refine it? Rosemary, licorice root, coriander, cardamom, allspice and chamomile flower.
Origin
Our botanicals are produced under the highest standards in the European Mediterranean region. After careful cultivation, our botanicals are added to the sevenfold pre-distilled raw alcohol of the gin manufactory deingin Punkt in Langenhagen, Germany.
